It takes some time to form habits by continuously making efforts in the right direction. In a couple of years of continuous efforts, you will naturally find yourself having internalized the habits.
It takes 1 to 3 years to build the ability to prevent stress and wounds and maintain happiness of mind. It takes only 3 to 6 months to treat rage and wounds but it takes more time to build happiness ability.
Habits that operate in human relationships are formed before you become an adult. You can change habits after you become an adult but it takes some time. When it takes 1 year to form a habit as a teenager, it will usually take 10 years to change the habit as an adult.
